Adam Bielecki — a Himalayan climber, an athlete, and a traveler. We do not have to introduce this gentleman to the people who love mountains! He became known as an extremely fast and resistant climber. He was the first to ascend Gaszerbrum I and Broad Peak, the eight-thousanders, in wintertime. Also, he climbed the peaks of, among others, Makalu and K2. That is exactly his next goal — to reach the latter summit in winter. Merzdorf accompanies him in the preparations.
This year began with a real blow that was Paweł Biszczak’s fight against Wojciech Wierzbicki during FEN 15 Final Strike gala. How such an event looks like from the perspective of a competitor? What emotions accompany him in the ring, and what after the fight? All this has been revealed to us by the winner himself, Paweł Biszczak.
Only two serious attempts to cross the traverse have been recorded. The first attempt had been made in 1984 by Hanz Kammerlander and legendary Italian traveler, Reinhold Messner (first to complete the Crown of the Himalayas). The second try by Piotr Morawski and Peter Hamor was in 2008. Extremely challenging route and difficult weather conditions were the reason why both expeditions did not complete successfully, which is getting to both peaks of the traverse.
